Connected background removal
Remove background pixels connected to the canvas edge while reducing the risk of deleting a similar color enclosed inside the subject.
From background cleanup to a reusable transparent file
A usable transparent sticker requires more than deleting a flat background. MewSticker removes connected background regions, shows the result on a checkerboard and lets you preview signed border extent, color and opacity for one sticker or a complete collection. Copy, download or batch-export the verified PNG assets.
Make a transparent sticker 中文Remove background pixels connected to the canvas edge while reducing the risk of deleting a similar color enclosed inside the subject.
Inspect color contamination, jagged pixels, translucent shadows and interior holes against a clear transparency grid.
Expand or contract the border, select its color and opacity, choose the current sticker or collection scope and preview before confirming.
Copy into another app, download the current sticker or export a verified collection of transparent PNG files.
A transparent sticker workflow
A continuous background and a clear subject boundary produce the most predictable automatic result, while complex edges still need review.
Choose a sufficiently detailed source with the complete subject visible and keep the original file for future revisions.
Process the region connected to the canvas edge, then verify that holes and gaps inside the subject are still correct.
Adjust extent, color and opacity for the destination. Apply one consistent treatment when a whole collection should match.
Check the outline on light and dark backgrounds before copying, downloading or batch-exporting the final assets.
Edge quality matters
Hair, shadows and translucent materials contain mixed pixels, so a preview on white alone can hide defects.
Fine strands can retain the original background color. Compare the edge on several colors before delivery.
A translucent effect may belong to the artwork or may be background residue; keep or remove it according to the intended use.
Spaces inside handles, between limbs or through product cutouts should be transparent without erasing neighboring subject pixels.
Keep an editable source
An outline can improve contrast on busy backgrounds, but an oversized border can hide detail. Once only a flattened final PNG remains, historical border removal cannot be guaranteed lossless.
A moderate outward outline keeps the subject readable over dark, light and photographic backgrounds.
Use the same extent and opacity across a collection to keep the visual weight consistent.
Keep the cleaned transparent source before exporting the bordered PNG so future colors and extents remain possible.
PNG can preserve transparent pixels; JPG cannot store an alpha channel, so transparent sticker exports normally use PNG.
Edge pixels may be blended with the source background. Inspect them on a checkerboard and contrasting colors, then refine complex areas.
Yes. Use signed extent to expand or contract it, set color and opacity, select the scope and preview the result before applying.
Not reliably when only the final PNG remains. Keep the original cleaned transparent artwork before adding a permanent border.
